We do our best to make container delivery stress- and hassle-free.
Whether you need temporary storage or a more permanent solution in the Monroe, Louisiana area, our team at Northeast Louisiana Containers LLC offers a wide range of container sizes and types that can be purchased or rented.
Our containers are durable, weather-resistant, and come in sizes ranging from 10′ to 40′. They can also be used for a variety of reasons, from storing tools at the worksite to providing additional living space for friends and family when they visit. The options are truly endless. However, you might be wondering about container delivery and what you need to do to prepare.
First, we can typically offer container delivery the same or next day, which means you won’t have to wait long. Second, you will need to determine where the container will be placed beforehand, plus we will need 100 feet of clearance for our trailer. It is also important to make sure the area where we are placing the trailer is flat and doesn’t interfere with other properties around you.
Other than that, we can answer questions that might be more specific to things like payment and rental options on a case-by-case basis. Simply give us a call or text and we will respond as soon as possible.
It is our goal to not only offer options when it comes to container rental and sales but to also make the container delivery process stress- and hassle-free. If you are ready to set up your delivery or have more questions, reach out to a member of our team today.
Delivery Guidelines
Delivery Space Requirements:
- We offer 10ft, 20 ft, and 40ft containers. To ensure a safe delivery, all containers, regardless of size, require at least 100ft of clear, straight space for backing.
Loading Orientation
- Containers can be loaded in two ways:
- Doors to Cab (doors face the cab of the truck during delivery)
- Doors to Rear (doors face the rear of the truck during delivery)
- Photos available upon request to illustrate each loading orientation option
Ground Surface Types
Acceptable surfaces for container placement include:
- Dirt
- Gravel
- Concrete Pad
- Asphalt
- Railroad ties
- Grass
Note: We do not level containers at the time of delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the drop site is level and suitable for placement.
Why Level Ground Matters
Steel containers are heavy and rigid, but they can twist if they are placed on uneven ground. This can lead to misaligned doors, which make the container difficult to open and close.
To avoid this issue:
- Use wood blocks (e.g., 4x4x8 lumber or railroad ties) at the door end of the container.
- This will help correct minor leveling issues and keep the doors functioning properly.
Leveling Recommendations
Use the following for the delivery site:
- 10ft or 20ft containers: 2-3 4x4x8 boards or railroad ties
- 40ft containers: 6 4x4x8 boards or railroad ties.
Note: These materials are commonly available at lumber yards or hardware stores.
